Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Stakeholder Insights

In April 2021, Design and Construction (FDC) initiated a comprehensive stakeholder insights assessment to shape Ohio State’s construction management organization for the future. We have entered an exciting and unprecedented time for growth at the university, including at the medical center, and must look toward the next three to five years to best position all projects for success.

The stakeholder insights process included more than 200 interviews with university and medical center leadership, FDC team members, outside consultants and other key constituents. Three themes emerged from these conversations which will form the foundation of our transformation moving forward:
