A vision is coming to life as construction crews continue their work on the University Square South building. With a March of 2023 opening date, crews have been working from the top down to complete the five-story mixed-use building. The project is about 70% complete with a budget of $44.9 million.

The University Square project, led by Campus Partners, opens the front door of Ohio State and connects to the heart of the University District at 15th+HIGH.  Four main buildings and a new parking garage will anchor the project site.

Construction progress includes:

  • Installing floor coverings, lighting and paint to the fourth and fifth floors.
  • Putting up drywall and paint on the third floor.
  • Installing plumbing and electric to the first and second floors.
  • Overhead inspections on first and second floors.
