The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) is one step closer to creating a cancer-free world with the opening of The James Outpatient Care. Located at Carmenton, the $356.5 million project includes outpatient operating rooms, interventional radiology rooms, extended recovery unit, pre-anesthesia center, a diagnostic imaging center, pharmacy, hematology clinic, genitourinary (GU) clinic, infusion and medical office and support spaces. The proton therapy center, the first of its kind in central Ohio, is expected to open in the fall in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The project also adds a 640-space James Outpatient Care parking garage.
