Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. In the News: A look inside Ohio State's inpatient hospital tower

The Columbus Dispatch recently toured the Wexner Medical Center Inpatient Hospital construction site. The $1.9 billion hospital is 75% through its construction phase, project manager Ragan Fallang told the outlet. It is expected to open in the spring of 2026.

The outlet cites that the new tower is built with enough steel to erect two Eiffel Towers and quoted Dr. Andrew Thomas, chief clinical officer and senior associate vice president for health sciences, as saying that the hospital tower is "a feat of engineering."
