Construction on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Powell is now 56% complete, with nearly every trade actively engaged in advancing the project. The mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems are being installed throughout the building, while interior finishes, including drywall and ceiling grids, are taking shape across multiple floors.
On the exterior, installation of middle panels is underway. Crews continue window caulking, brick cleaning and installation at both the north elevation and main entrance, with just a handful of windows and panels remaining.
Landscaping is poised to begin soon with tree planting and sidewalk installation scheduled in the coming weeks.
Construction progress includes:
- In-wall MEP and drywall finishes in progress on the first floor
- Sheetrock wall installation underway on the first floor
- DIRTT wall partitions installed on second floor
- Ceiling grid and overhead MEP work in progress on floor three
- Window caulking at main entrance
- Landscaping and sidewalk installation planned for coming weeks
