Construction on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Powell is about 42% done with just about every tradesperson conducting work on the building. From masonry and roofing, to framing and mechanical electric and plumbing (MEP), significant progress is being made. Precast on the exterior of the building is now complete as brick and windows are being installed.

Work on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Powell is nearing 33% completion. Crews are just beginning framing and overhead ceiling work on the fourth floor, while already complete on floors two and three. Installation of the roof on the Ambulatory Healthcare Center (AHC) is 80% complete. Final grading and seeding are slated for the coming months as crews also begin tree planting.
Construction on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Powell is nearly 30% complete. Currently, crews are working on interior metal framing, electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) on levels two and three. Crews are also working to install roofing to both the five-story medical office building and two-story ambulatory health center.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Powell is a vision starting to come to life as crews began vertical construction in early July. Underground utilities are being installed and crews are preparing for concrete pours. Site paving is taking place and masons are hard at work on the site wall.
Outpatient Care Powell is a $183 million project that will include a two-story health center and an attached five-story medical office building.

As reported by Columbus Business First, The Ohio State University Board of Trustees will vote on Thursday on a $165 million request for the bulk of construction costs and professional services. The $183 million project has completed design and is now ready to move to full construction as early as April, pending board approval. The target open date is August 2026, according to board materials.
