Fans are back in Ohio Stadium this fall as the Buckeyes make another run toward the College Football Playoffs.

For a winning fan experience, The Ohio State University is encouraging attendees to allow additional time to get in and out of the stadium area as traffic and parking changes may cause delays.

SLIDESHOW: Mars G. Fontana Laboratories (Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex)

The Mars G. Fontana Laboratories is phase I of the Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex. The building opened in August 2020 and aligns with Framework 2.0 and the university’s strategic plan, by enhancing both teaching and learning through improved facilities and support space. The $59.1 million Mars G. Fontana Laboratories renovated the former Koffolt Lab and Fontana Lab to create additional research, classroom and office space.

Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex Construction Right on Schedule

Welcoming students and faculty to campus in the fall of 2020, phase one of The Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex (BMEC)—the Mars G. Fontana Laboratories—will be the new home for two highly-ranked engineering departments. The project brings Biomedical Engineering from west campus to innovate and educate alongside Materials Science and Engineering, enabling both departments to significantly increase their undergrad and graduate student capacity.
