The Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Center is 50% complete. The anatomy wing opened in January 2022. Steel installation continues as part of the classroom wing phase, and parts of Hamilton Hall are being prepared for demolition in order to expand the current building footprint. When complete, the project will create a collaborative campus for interprofessional education throughout the Health Sciences.
Construction progress includes:
- The anatomy wing is now being utilized for classes and daily operations.
- Foundations for the classroom wing are complete, and steel erection has begun.
- Underground utilities are nearly complete beneath the new classroom wing footprint.
- A majority of the underground site stormwater water structures are in place and will be tied-in later this year.
