A vision comes to life as Newton Hall nears full completion of a 12,300 square-foot first floor renovation. Flexible classrooms, informal learning spaces and offices on the first floor were all included in the renovation that supports the College of Nursing. Also included in the facelift is the new Center for Well-being and Prevention at the College of Nursing, which offers health coaching with a gym, counseling and telehealth services.
An initial phase, Jane E. Heminger Hall, added an approximately 35,000 square foot addition and opened in August 2022.
In total, the $31.7 million project supports nursing’s vision to be the world’s leader in thinking and achieving the impossible to transform health and improve lives.
