Fans are back in Ohio Stadium this fall as the Buckeyes make another run toward the College Football Playoffs.

For a winning fan experience, The Ohio State University is encouraging attendees to allow additional time to get in and out of the stadium area as traffic and parking changes may cause delays.

The Timashev Family Music Building, within a newly envisioned Arts District, is slated to open in less than one year and construction progress is notable – including exterior masonry and facade work as the project team approaches its next major milestone of building enclosure. The district, sited between 15th and 18th avenues, envisions high-quality, modern learning environments for interaction across arts disciplines. The $165.1 million project includes new facilities for the School of Music (Timashev Family Music Building) and Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts.

The Lantern provided an update on Arts District construction following a recent webinar hosted by the college. As reported, faculty members are excited for the project to bring in more of the public to experience artistic creations at the university and foster interdisciplinary learning among music, theater and media production students and faculty.

In the News: The next 10 years are going to be a construction boom

Columbus Business First highlighted the construction projects to watch at Ohio State over the next decade, citing the university's projected five-year, $2.4 billion capital plan.

"The next 10 years are going to be a construction boom," said Mark Conselyea, Ohio State's associate vice president of facilities operations and development.
