Construction on the Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex (BMEC) Phase 2 is about 60% complete as crews are finished framing level one and are now beginning drywall installation. Significant progress has been made in the basement where concrete has been poured, and framing is starting to go up.
Construction on the Wexner Medical Center Inpatient Hospital is at 95% complete as crews have already turned over floors 11, 12 and 14 to the fit-up team, in addition to floors one through ten. Floors 15 and 16 are currently being turned over followed by 17 and 18. Once floors are turned over to the fit-up team, they’re cleaned and then equipment and furniture are installed.
Construction on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care Powell is about 42% done with just about every tradesperson conducting work on the building. From masonry and roofing, to framing and mechanical electric and plumbing (MEP), significant progress is being made. Precast on the exterior of the building is now complete as brick and windows are being installed.
The Campbell Hall Renovation project is nearing 25% completion as crews continue their facelift on the historic building. A variety of specialty crews are in and out of the building each day including electricians, plumbers, carpenters and heating, ventilation and air conditioning professionals, among others.
