Construction on the Interdisciplinary Research Facility, located in Ohio State’s Innovation District, is 70% complete. The 5-story building will house both wet and dry laboratories and serve multiple research disciplines, including biomedical, life sciences, engineering and environmental sciences.
From rough-ins on the top floors, to finish work on the lower levels, a transformation is underway on The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Outpatient Care West Campus job site. The $349.5 million project is 65% complete, according to Ohio State construction manager Shaun Allen.
Old Cannon Garage will no longer open on Monday, August 1. A new opening date is still to be determined. The university is working quickly to address the issue and will provide timing updates as additional information becomes available.
Construction crews are nearing completion on Jane E. Heminger Hall. They’re focusing on site work, which includes landscaping, concrete pours and preparing green space for grass planting on the grounds of the 35,000 square foot addition.
