Work on the Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex (BMEC) Phase 2 is passing the halfway point, at nearly 53% complete. Crews are preparing to pour the second interior stairwell and then will be able to remove the exterior temporary set. Crews are also working on installing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) hangers throughout the building.

The focus is now on ensuring a strong foundation with footers and a foundation wall. Construction on the north and south connectors from Mars G.
