A proposed innovation district on Ohio State’s west campus is gaining momentum through two proposed buildings that will support research and technology commercialization.

The most noteworthy redevelopment work that Ohio State has going are the 15+HIGH and Arts District projects along North High Street. Major changes have been taking place on the east side of High Street since 2008. That has been part of the plan since the beginning, said Amanda Hoffsis, president of Campus Partners, Ohio State’s real estate offshoot.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute are collaborating with Nationwide Children’s Hospital to bring the first proton therapy treatment facility to central Ohio.
